An excellent manager - he'll be snapped up by one of Europe's elite if he's patient enough to wait.

Its a weird situation. Mourinho has won more as a manager 19 years of management than Spurs have in 137 years. But he's seen as a step backwards.

Add to that Pochettino clearly wanted to leave at the end of last season.

Reminds me a bit of Keegan and Dalglish with us. Dalglish had all the credentials to push Keegan's team on to win something, but it....well.... we all know what happened.

It'll be a different type of football, along the lines of Keegan to Dalglish as well.
He'll leave them in a mess, and with Levy in charge, it might not be a long appointment.

RE: AgentMourinho

Yes, getting rid of a manager who hasn't won a trophy for a serial winner is a ridiculous idea isn't it.

When it's a case of getting rid of an up and coming manager for one who is well past his sell by date and destroys clubs when he leaves, yes, yes it is.
Thanks for agreeing with me.

RE: AgentMourinho

How long are you classed as up and coming? Poch has been around for a while now.

Mourinho past his sell by date? Won 2 trophies at Man Utd.

I get that people don't like him, but he is one of the best managers of all time.

Poch had been building for 5 years, from more or less nothing. With not much spent.
He's been denied, in the main, by existing forces and the also-up-and-coming, Liverpool.
If it wasn't for Liverpool, probably the most potent force in football right now, he might well be holding a Champions League winning medal.*
*and thus, wouldnt be trophyless anymore.
