Could have done with a few pints watching the rugby bit too close for comfort. Just happy that we beat S’hampton aswell and I realise you will be disappointed. There is always the next game, which you can hope that we lose. This weekend it didn’t end well for you, which is good for me hence my reply.

There is a club there that exists as a sporting entity that reflects the City and the fans... .but not as long as Ashley and Charnley exist.

We know that the majority will put up with any old shit from the attendances, 10k stopped going, 40k keep going, it's hard to judge if this board is a fair representation of the match going crowd but there are certainly posters who are happy to take whatever is served up such as willo and surreymag, the bandit by the looks of it, even Sal seems to be giving in now that we've fluked our way to the FA Cup quarters.

Have a bit of pride in your club and don't stand for Mike Ashley ffs.

I don’t like Ashley but that won’t stop me wanting my team to win. It’s not the players fault that he owns the club.

RE: Southampton away

It's not the fans fault neither!

Some people understand it's not easy to get rid of an owner, especially one like Ashley who owns a billion pound sports business and supporting a club is not easy to stop.

The club invested £40mil in an attacking player and £18mil in another in one transfer window. One hasn't worked out too well so far but one has been a diamond. We nearly pulled off a big spending deal on a midfieler a couple of months ago so for me things can get going good again.

Replacing Gayle and Muto with a solid striker will do wonders for next season we just need to make sure we stay up to keep the money flowing in (more than yoyo relegation money) . Supporting the club will help this. Something within even Ashley's capabilities.

Protesting and being relegated just makes it even harder and longer to get back to where we were. Fortunately for the supporting people, it's going our way.

Will the protesters still stay away if the club starts doing well again more next season?

credit where it's due, in asm and almiron we have two very exciting players, but as always it's difficult to get too excited because we know the offers are gonna be coming in during the summer and they'll be gone

You do understand that you are arguing with a self confessed hypocrite right SM ?

As long as you are not filling Ashley's pockets it's difficult to argue against your stance, it' a perfectly reasonable one.

Supporting a puppet manager then ditching your team when he leaves on the other hand........

I’m not saying he should. But it’s a bit weird he boycotts matches but not a messaging board dedicated to Newcastle.
It looks like he wants us to lose matches as well which is a bit weird.

I'm suggesting it's weird to think that a fan of a club should boycott a messageboard because he is boycotting the matches.

It's hilarious actually.
