RE: Southampton v Newcastle

i ended my post in the neverton thread wondering whch team would turn up at southampton...answer: a lazy, disjointed, clueless shower without an ounce of passion or commitment between them, which ofcourse is exactly what the infantile bruce haters were hoping for, they must have thought all their christmasses had come at once as they watched with sheer joy as almoron fannied about with the ball just outside the box, choosing not to put it into row z or roll it back to lewis, ohhhh no no no that's far too sensible, so after much deliberation he decided to give it to walker-peters instead and seconds later its in the back of the net, prompting all our defenders to point at almoron and call him a silly billy (or something).

My rule of thumb is that if a few players have an off day it's just one of those things, yes they get paid a lot of money but theyre only human, and just like us they might be off the team with their lass, she's found some flirty texts on his iphone or flicked thru his browsing history and is nagging him to fuck about it, or he's worried he may have left the iron on, or he has to fix his daughters rabbit hutch the next day but cant be arsed....for whatever reason players can have off days, BUT when the whole fucking team plays as shite as each other like our lot last night, it simply HAS to be the manager, the preparation, the tactics, the motivation....all bruceys responsibilty.

He bangs on about deserving more respect from Newcastle fans, but all he's done with that absolute abortion of a performance last night is handed them more bullets to fire at him....you have to earn respect not demand it.

No doubt we'll beat chelski next. Wink
