How likely do you think it is after 9 games?
1 = Nee chance
10 = Doon

RE: Relegation
Could be too late by January, if we're not in with a good shout of stopping up we'll struggle get the players in to help us. You'd like to think we can give ourselves a shot, big bonus should be offered to the players to ensure 100% effort each game

RE: Relegation
I think it will be close run thing hope I am wrong. We just need some wins draws are no good. We are lucky as there are teams that are as bad as us who will not be able to invest in players in January. That hopefully will be our saving grace

RE: Relegation
I think we are better than Norwich and Burnley.
That's probably it, but January will change things.
If we are no more than 6 points adrift come January i think we'll do it, but any more than that the damage may have been done.
Just gotta scrap for each and every point till then, try and hang in there.
Assuming Saturday is a loss, we simply have to beat Brighton or Brentford.

Yes not sure if that will happen. Brighton away is always a mare for us perhaps this is the year it changes. Brentford are good going forward but leave gaps at the back that hopefully we can exploit.

RE: Relegation
We actually want to be bottom of the league tomorrow as it would mean we'd be just 3 adrift instead of 6.
Howay Norwich.

RE: Relegation
If we beat Brentford there's a decent chance we'll be just 2 points adrift.
But, we have to go out and do it.
I dunno, staying up is doable but we are SO fucking bad, and so much needs changing, is there enough time within 27 games?
I'm about 50/50 at the minute, the next 3 home games are fucking huge.

Yes we need 3 wins before Xmas with other teams to fuck up as well. Here’s hoping. We should have won yesterday if the goalkeeper hadn’t tripped Wilson. We didn’t deserve to win but I’m sure no one would have been upset well not supporters of NUFC anyway.

You could well be right Burnley usually come good last two games 4 points including their draw at Chelsea. Watford may get dragged into the bottom 3 at some point.

You could have said that about Everton. They can count themselves very lucky.

RE: Relegation
Everton spent a lot more money though. The point is spending money doesn't guarantee Premiership survival.
I'd have preferred Everton to have gone down, but more than happy just to have Newcastle staying up. The thought of relegation wasn't pleasant.
Hopefully the club can buy some quality players and compete at the right end of the table for a change from next season.

it wasnt purely based on being the richest club, i always felt that the group of players we had before january could perform better collectively, i'd seen them play better in the past therefore the problem was cabbage heed, i read this week he's been bumping his gums about fans should appreciate the job he done here, i think he just needs to stfu and hang his head in shame for the total mess he left behind ....because of him the team were unfit, disorganised and severely lacking in confidence, so much so it took Eddie a few months to get the team firing on all cylinders, from then it was onwards and upwards.
