JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW 2022
Opens next Saturday, i must admit even despite mike ashley i always looked forward to the transfer windows, probably clinging on to the hope that in one of them he may still turn over a new leaf and show some ambition by throwing a few hundred million around...alas that was never gonna happen in a million fucking years, the guy knew exactly what he wanted from our club and it certainly wasn't titles, champs league and trophies.
But now obviously being the richest football club in the land we enter the transfer window wth a bit of a swagger, and in fact because of his greed we could possibly be allowed to spend up to £600m in january without breaching the ffp rules, but even spending a third or even a quarter of that would be pretty cool for us after what we've been used to.
As expected since the takeover we've been linked with some of the top players, and we know clubs are gonna stick an extra 20% on to a players value with us being so stinking rich, it is gonna take a lot of thought to make sure we bring in the right players for te right price and bearing in mind that Howe wasn't exactly that clever at Bournemouth despite a net spend of £176m he still got them relegated...I'm still indecisive as to whether this job is too big for him, which is also what makes this window so interesting....How he deals with transfers together with the intense pressure of relegation will either make him or break him, he said when he arrived that the toon job was a "perfect fit" for him, well so far the defence still needs tightening up, the midfield are a bit slack but at least the attacking has a bit more zip
GOOD LUCK EDDIE!

JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW 2022
As you say interesting times ahead. How many top players will fancy a relegation scrap. Depends how much they want to play regularly I guess. Oh well here’s hoping.

JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW 2022
Linked with Dembele, but is he actually any good, or worth the amount in wages that's being touted.
