We should really win this quite easily, Forest will be bedding in a new team, looking at the purchases they have made....

Both sides will be up for this.

But Newcastle should have just too much for Forest to cope with.

Apart from Almiron who was absolute dog muck, even worse than usual which never seemed possible, we put out a decent and solid team, although Forrest will be fighting relegation all season. Nice to get a win early doors rather than having to wait 14 games.

One or two could be less greedy and play the right pass for an easy goal, which could have made it easier.

Couple more signings a must.

ASM needs to learn to release the ball sometimes.

He gives the opposing defence time to get back and organise.

I'm all up for his dribbling, but not every time. It gets predictable.

Thats the kind of football we want ..specially at home, attack attack attack from the start.. also the right attitude to have against a newly promoted side..

Unfortunately we won't be playing Forrest every week and will still get smashed by the big clubs.

I think that's why Botman was brought in. Add that bit of quality to help the team move forward, and to try and stop us being dry bummed by the top sides.

Signed fairly late on, so not quite a full pre-season - but I expect him to feature in our 3rd game, if not against Brighton.
