2009/10 Live TV coverage - Newcastle:
SkySports: rights to show 65 Football League fixtures (including an unspecified number of Championship games, the Championship playoff final plus match highlights.
Last season their schedule included 17.20pm Saturday and 1.15pm Sunday kickoffs.
BBC: rights to show live 10 Championship fixtures plus match highlights. No details of time/day slots as yet.
Setanta: No Championship rights.
ITV Sport: No Championship rights.

its rare they do championship games, unless its at a time no other matches are being played
course that could all be changed now we're in the league

Doesn't it depend where they finished the season before?
I'm sure it used to be top half and relegated teams didn't enter until a later round

Nah, unfortunately we do play in the first roond, was on ssn yesterday.
Ironic also that the 1st season in a while i don't get for free home cup tkts, we'll do well in both comps with mainly home fixtures - just watch !
