depends how big the bag is... your leaving it tight though mate. Will you be able to make it in time? If you take a large rucksack that will probably save you time.

Thinking of going to the game on monday....

I've just asked a season ticket holder who I'm chatting to on MSN, SomMag, and this is what was said:

RandomTeaLady says (22:39):
I need to ask you something......... you has knowledge, I needs it.......... Somerset mag from ToTT is going to the match on Monday straight from the airport. He will have an overnight bag with him. Will they let him in with it?
Very Nice Man says (22:41):
i should think so, they may want to see inside it incase its got beer or missiles but saying he has just arrived for the game they should let him in... as long as it fits under his seat
Very Nice Man then added:
he should call tomorrow at the box office and if they say no, depending on the size...(they may actually have restrictions but i doubt it), he could get off the central station and put it in the left luggage lockers till afterwards.
station is only ten mins away

(Names changed to protect the errrrm..... innocent)

Hope that's a bit helpful?

Good advice. I was going to mention the lock ups at the Central Station but it has already been done.

Carry on.

Thank you Stoner. That is precisley the information I needed. I did think about a locker at the central station. Time is tight though, I don't think I would make it. As Stoners 'very nice man' suggested, i'll call the box office today.

Just spoken to the box office. The bag will be fine as long as it fits under the seat. I can also by a ticket on the night. All systems go! As long as the flight isn't delayed.

This will be my first visit to sjp since 27th august 1994.

That Very Nice Man advises that you order your ticket and pick it up on the day, Som.
He says that with the flag etc incentives it's perfectly possible that you'll get there and find it's sold out.
And, having not been for so long, and traveling so far to get there, that would be a right pisser!

i doubt if it will sell out cos of a few sackless flags,..no-one with any sense will cough up hard earned wages to watch relegation fodder and plus its live on setanta
